Edinboro Market is now offering monthly community classes. See what upcoming classes you might be interested in below. This program is partially funded by a grant that allows for some class costs to be discounted for those who can’t pay full price for these offerings. These classes are supported by ECGRA funding.

Preserving Fruits & Herbs | July 12, 2025 | 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Preserving Fruits & Herbs with Steph Thauer

Learn how to preserve those fleeting summer fruits by making freezer jams, drying fruit, and making your own fruit jerky! Besides preservation methods we’ll discuss labeling and how long to expect your preserved fruit to stay fresh.

All things Garlic! | July 26, 2025 | 3 PM

A workday at Fat Hawk Farm with Garrett Gleeson

Participants will learn how/when to plant garlic in the fall, no-till farming practices, working with living pathways, and different ways to use garlic, scapes and green garlic.
 
The cost for this class is $15 per person.

Herbs & Succession Planting | August 16, 2025 | TBD

A workday at Live and Learn Farms with Lisa Dvorak

Participants will learn how to grow, harvest, process, and use herbs, specific growing methods, snacks with herbs, edible flowers, and succession planting!
 
The cost for this class is $15 per person.
