This week Squirrel is going nuts over some exciting new products: feta cheese from Pleasant Lane Farms, spreadable chevre from Goat Rodeo, and beef sticks from Na*Kyrsie Meats. He is also going nuts over Post Apples shiitake mushrooms and the goodies he is picking up for Mom this Mother’s Day.
From local honey, flowers, chocolate, tea and coffee, snacks, and personal care products, we surely have something that will make the moms in your life feel as special as they are! P.S.: any mother who stops in on Mother’s Day will receive a complimentary scone or cookie of their choice, courtesy of the Boro Sweet Spot. 🙂
We are so excited to bring back our Monthly Market Partner program, featuring Buona Cucina Oils and More for the month of May. Each month we’ll highlight a different local artisan/food entrepreneur. From Erie, PA, Buona Cucina offers over 50 varieties of single-source olive oils, and sweet and savory balsamic vinegars. Stop in and pick up one of their 7 different infused oils, 8 vinegars, or 3 sampler packs to try with your summer salads, grilled veggies, and meats.
New Producer Spotlight:

They make cheese from their milk, as well as milk from their neighbor’s cows at Le-Ara Farms. Their fresh chevre won 2nd place for best Goat’s Milk Cheese at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in 2019, 2020, and 2022. Try it with salads, cold meats, fresh fruit, omelets and more. New Producer Spotlight: Na*Kyrsie Meats
Na*Kyrsie Meats opened in Geneva, Ohio in 2016 to provide fresh, local meats to their community. Their sausages and salamis are made from scratch recipes using in-house ground spices and natural casings. The Kabanosy beef sticks, now available at the Market, are stuffed into sheep casings then smoked, baked and dried.
Our goal is to provide access to fresh, locally grown food while being an entrepreneurial marketplace for food producers; and an understanding of the importance of both.
